We were so lucky to have Willow as our wedding photographer. From start to finish, she was so helpful and easy to work with. We had a very DIY, non-traditional wedding, and Willow was up for our ideas. She also seemed totally comfortable when our timeline and details got off track. Our experience and our photographs were absolutely beautiful. And they would be worth any price, but Willow's rates fit easily into our tiny budget.
Willow (and her second-shooter) were available well before the ceremony, and stayed through to the end of the reception, with no pressure about time. I also want to mention that we are a same-sex couple, and it was important to us that the vendors we chose for our wedding treated us like any other couple (not just that they would be OK taking our money). Not only was Willow okay with working with us, she seemed genuinely happy for us. We felt totally comfortable and at ease with Willow. She felt more like our friend than our photographer, and it really came through in the photos. Anyone would be so lucky to have Willow as their photographer!

While looking for photographers for my destination wedding in New Orleans, I ran into some issues. See, Every. Single. Photographer. had that unnatural my-hand-is-placed-awkwardly-on-your-shoulder deal, ala Sears and Roebuck. It was disheartening to say the least. Then I found Willow.
Willow is a true artist, and her approach to wedding photography is unique and genius. Don't expect a 4 hour session -- Willow will be with you from start to finish, ensuring that these special moments are documented. Naturally. Sans awkward arms.
All that aside would have made her the best, what I DIDN'T expect was how truly warm, wacky and hilarious she is in person! Every single guest at my wedding became fast friends with her, and she and her work became the greatest investment I made for my wedding (outside the groom, of course. Ahem.)
Follow her work on Facebook and see just how versatile and intuitive she is.

Willow is an amazing photographer. I found Willow online and was impressed with her portfolio.
Willow was very responsive in the months leading up to the wedding whenever I had a question or two and as the event drew near, kept in touch with me via text.
I was nervous about having a photographer following my husband to be and I around, but I was at ease as soon as I met Willow. She is very personable, likable, understanding and attentive to ones wants and needs. During the event she blended with the crowd and I had many many comments from family and friends about how great Willow was. Willow made a commitment to document my event and she went way above and beyond expectations. She arrived early in the day and followed us from getting ready through the ceremony and reception and on to a bar! I know we monopolized her time that day and I hope she had as much fun as we did.
The day after the wedding I already had a small sample of her work which was absolutely amazing. Within 4 days I had nearly 100 photos from the wedding and reception! Each photo more amazing than the last. I could never have hoped for results this fantastic.
I would highly recommend Willow to anyone.

My partner surprised me in New Orleans with a magnificent proposal, all of which was caught on camera by the talented Willow! I did not even register that she was snapping photos of the proposal, which took place in Jackson Square right in front of St. Louis Cathedral. She was so stealth, allowing her to capture this once-in-a-lifetime moment in real time.
Afterwards, when my parents, sister, and soon to be parents-in-law appeared, we had a family photo shoot the was incredibly memorable. Willow was professional but playful & fun, just the right balance to make us all feel comfortable. The photos will be cherished in our family forever. AND she is photographing our wedding, which will take place in New Orleans this December!
We can't wait to see what she produces this time. Her services are affordable; her demeanor, inviting; her photographs, beautiful. What other reasons do you need to book Willow?

Willow did an amazing job photographing our wedding celebration. My wife and I had already gotten legally married several months before, but we wanted to have a celebration with all our loved ones. She instinctively got all of the shots we wanted with little to no direction! Thanks, Willow!

My husband and I just got back from a weekend trip to New Orleans to be a part of our friends wedding where this amazing photographer was capturing all the important moments. She has this great positive energy - she is able to position herself in places to get great shots without feeling intrusive. She smiles constantly and gave us the impression that she truly cares about her work and her clients. The wedding took place in the morning and the party continued all day long. She was there for every step of the way, smiling, even hanging out in the rain, to make sure she captured everything. I even took pictures of her with my phone because I felt she was a part of our group by the end of the day. She was professional and personal . . . a beautiful spirit! After seeing her work (shared by our friends who were married) I am very impressed. There is a realness to her photographs. She doesn't cover up anything - instead she brings forth what is real in a face, eyes, the experience. Really beautiful work.
Hire Willow! I first met Willow at a photography exhibition. I was very impressed with her work from our local festivals and was so excited to learn she did weddings. I hired her on the spot. The photos were that good.
My wedding was very non-traditional, but Willow was able to keep up with us. My photos are beautiful. My family and I are so happy with them. She was great for the traditional shots but even better at capturing the mood of that night. She is a true artist. Photos are a huge deal to me and my family and these surpass our wildest dream. A colleague who is a local photography professor was in awe and immediately wanted to know who I had hired.
She nailed the lighting, we look like rock stars. She captured so many tender moments that I didn't notice on that day. I am forever grateful to Willow for helping us capture our memories.
We had a great venue, great band, and great food, but my guests ask me the most about my great photos and who is that photographer. One of my facebook friends who didn't attend my wedding told me that my photos look like they could be part of the Louisiana Tourism Bureau's get married in NOLA campaign.
